Tetramethrin has a rapid knockdown effect on mosquitoes, flies and other sanitary pests, but its lethal performance is poor. It is mainly mixed with some sanitary insecticides that have strong insecticidal power and low toxicity to humans and animals to make sprays or aerosol.
