Cyhalofop-butyl is a selective systemic post-emergent herbicide with foliar uptake only and no soil activity. It is the safest herbicide for the control of grassweeds in rice field and it will not be phytotoxic to rice in all cultivation forms fromseedling to jointing stage.
Cyhalofop-butyl is highly effective in controlling cockspur grass, chinese sprangletop and it can also control crab grass, green bristlegrass, goosegrass, etc.

Application

Cyhalofurate is the only herbicide with high safety to rice. Like other herbicides in this class, cyhalofurate is also a herbicide with internal conductivity.Absorbed by the leaves and leaf sheaths of the plant body, transmitted by phloem, accumulated in the meristem region of the plant body, resist acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCASE), so that fatty acid synthesis stops, the growth and division of cells can not be carried out normally, the membrane system and other lipid structures are destroyed, and finally lead to plant death.The absorption of cyhalofurate to weed death is relatively slow, generally taking 1-3 weeks.The symptoms of weeds after application are as follows: the buds in the four-leaf stage atrophy, resulting in death.The old leaves of the two-leafed stage show little change and remain green.Cyhalofop-butyl is an organic substance,Soluble in most organic solvents, insoluble in water
