Daminozide features

Daminozide is a plant growth retardant, has a bactericidal effect, and has a wide range of application effects. It can be used as a dwarfing agent, fruit setting agent, rooting agent and preservative, etc. After processing the plant, it can be absorbed, transported and distributed to various parts of the plant.

Application

The initial effect of Daminozide  is to inhibit the synthesis of auxin, inhibit the transport of auxin in plants and the biosynthesis of gibberellin.

1.Delay the vegetative growth of plants, make the leaves dark green, small and thick, compact and thick plants, and well-developed roots. Increase the dry weight of the roots and reduce the crown-to-root ratio, which is beneficial to control the lengthening or the differentiation of flower buds.

2.Increase crop chlorophyll content, delay chloroplast senescence, slow down the growth rate, high photosynthetic net assimilation rate, help increase dry matter accumulation, improve fruit quality, hardness and fruit setting rate, and promote the concentration of fruit maturity.

3. Increase the sugar content in plant cells, reduce energy consumption, reduce transpiration, etc. This may be related to the increase of plant resistance to adverse environments by butyl hydrazide, which is beneficial to reduce physiological diseases.

4. Promote the biosynthesis of anthocyanins, which is beneficial to improve the color of fruits and prevent fruits from decolorization during storage. Butyryl hydrazide can be quickly decomposed by microorganisms in the soil.
